  • Motul Brake Fluid DOT 5.1
    Fully synthetic!

    Motul Brake Fluid DOT 5.1 is a fully synthetic polyglycol-based brake fluid for disc and drum brake systems with DOT 5.1, DOT 4 and DOT 3 manufacturer's recommendation. Especially suitable for vehicles with anti-lock braking system (ABS).

    • Standards: DOT 3, DOT 4, DOT 5.1, SAE J 1703, ISO 4925
    • can be mixed with all DOT 3, DOT 4 and DOT 5.1 products
    • can be mixed with the predecessor Motul HYDRAULIK DOT 5.
    • exceptionally durable due to high wet boiling point
    • more efficient fluid circulation in the precision mechanism of anti-lock braking systems (ABS)
    • corrosion-proof; behaves neutrally towards seals in the braking system
    • Replacement intervals: between 12 and 24 months (depending on vehicle manufacturer's recommendation)

    Good to know:
    Only keep residual brake fluid in carefully sealed original containers to prevent absorption of moisture.

    For safety reasons, brake fluids should never be topped up; they should always be replaced instead!

    Cannot be mixed with silicone-based brake fluids (DOT5) and special fluids such as LHM. Fluid can affect
    vehicle paintwork.
