Product information

Since 1980, the flagship publication BIKERS NEWS has been THE German biker and rocker magazine. Nobody could have guessed what it would one day become. The cover photo of the 12-page magazine shows a rather bored-looking Udo Lindenberg. After a brief introduction, there was the rally calendar, two pages of nostalgic motorcycle ads, one item under Club News, and seven small ads. This was the birth of a magazine that went on to chart an irresistible rise to fame.

The eight magazines from the Huber publishing house are produced entirely in-house. Around 75 full-time staff in the editorial office, graphic design and the subscriptions department plus more than 150 freelance reporters are responsible for production and sales of the magazines and books.

    Harley-Davidson Touring

    • This book tells the fascinating story of Harley's touring models. It presents unique conversions and spectacular baggers, gives tips on buying a second-hand machine, and introduces all the members of the touring family in words and pictures.
    • With the launch of the first Electra Glide in 1965, Harley-Davidson put the ultimate touring bike onto the market. Scarcely any other motorbike can offer the same level of comfort and enjoyment on long tours. Today it is powered by a water-cooled 1690 cc twin cam V2 instead of the oily 1200 cc Panhead of yesteryear.
    • In 2015, the company's touring stable comprises the Road King, Street Glide, Road Glide and E-Glide, the last three of which are also available in limited-edition factory-custom versions with a 1.8 litre engine.
    • 128 pages
    • Format: 225 x 220 mm, hardcover
